When do doors open? What can I do before the game?
Doors open 1 hour before the published face-off time.
The WhiteMagic shop and the Phoenix merchandise desk are located inside the Dome once the doors have opened.
The teams have a 20-minute warm-up session on the ice starting at around 40-minutes before face-off.
The Dome has hot food outlets and food and drink vending machines.
Our plasma screens show player interviews and other information before the game.
How long does the game last?
An ice hockey match is one hour of playing time, plus two 15-minute intervals. The clock is stopped at every break in play, though, so a full match takes between 2 and 2½ hours to complete.
How do I get to the dome?
We’re right next to the metrolink station, or easily accessible by car or other public transport. Details and maps are here.
Where do I park?
There is parking immediately outside the dome, though this is likely to fill on a match night. This is pay-and-display, though is currently free of charge on Sundays.
There are additional car parks and on-street parking around the Ice Dome
. Please do NOT park in the 2-hour leisure-centre reserved spaces, in the station car park next to the Dome, in Tesco’s car park, or inappropriately in disabled or unmarked spaces. The car parks are all patrolled regularly.
