Trafford Metros - We Need Your Support!
The weekend of 8th and 9th of May are most important dates of the Metros' season, being as they are the English National League Division One promotion/relegation match-ups against the Solihull Barons. Survival in the top flight is essential for the Mets if they wish to keep hold of stars such as Max Drakeley and Andrew McKinney, both of whom have seen significant ice time with the senior Phoenix team in the English Premier League and have surely established themselves as future Phoenix players, along with Declan Ryan, Jake Nurse and John Murray who also guested for the Phoenix during the 09/10 season.
On behalf of the Phoenix organisation, please come down to the Dome on Sunday 9th to support the Trafford Metros in the second leg of the relegation battle. Solihull are bringing a large support up to Altrincham, and we can't let them outshout us in our own back yard can we? Anyone who was in attendance for last year's epic play-off game versus Blackburn will remember just how spectacular it was, and this should be no different. Two teams with everything to gain, and also everything to lose. It promises to be as good as any matchup you'll see this year.
Tickets are priced at £5 for adults, £4 concessions, £3 children and are available to buy on the door. We're also running a Buy One Get One Free deal on tickets, where the cheapest ticket from a pair gets in free. The game faces off at 5.15pm.
