An evening with Dave Simms

Thursday, 20th January 2011

The Cresta Court Hotel is the place to be on Tuesday 22nd February.

One of British Hockey’s most controversial guys will be holding “court” in Altrincham as he brings his very successful hockey evening to Phoenix fans. Never short of an opinion on all things hockey, Dave has had a long career in the British hockey scene. A prominent member of the old Solihull organisation, Dave took that experience to the Sheffield Arena where he was the voice of the Steelers for many seasons. After some internal problems at the club Dave took the difficult decision to stand down from the clubs then current management and concentrate on his media career. After changes were made at the Steelers, he was invited back and can once again be heard at his spiritual home in the Whitehouse.

Dave also anchors Sky Sports successful Friday night hockey programme with colour commentary and analysis.

Dave brings a wealth of experience at all levels of hockey to the table and has hundreds of hockey stories to relate.

Come along to the Cresta Court and hear David’s take on all things hockey. Challenge his opinions and ask questions of your own. I am sure he will have some interesting answers. Love him or hate him you certainly cannot ignore him.
