Monday, 10th December 2012

Friday 7th December saw the Manchester Phoenix make their annual trip to the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital to give our Christmas presents to ill and injured children. The team comprised of club owner Neil Morris and players Steven Fone, James Neil, Ciaran Long, Tom Duggan, Richard Bentham, Ondrej Pozivil, Joachim Flaten and Robert Schnabel.

Phoenix defenceman Ondrej Pozivil commented “I like doing things like this, because it’s for such a good cause.”

The happy band of brothers spread cheer throughout the hospital wards as they gave out the 189 presents generously donated by the Phoenix fans, bringing smiles to the patients, families and staff alike!
