Charity-Hike for the Manchester Phoenix Community Sports Foundation

Rick and Jackie Hesketh are undertaking a day-hike to raise funds for the Manchester Phoenix Community Sports Foundation.

The hike will take Rick and Jackie behind enemy 'blue lines' and deep into Sheffield Steeldogs country (and we will drop gloves if necessary...)

It's a 25km high-level traverse of the Peak District's Eastern Gritstone Edges. Starting at High Neb (460 metres) the route follows Stanage Edge, Higgar Tor, Burbage Rocks, Froggatt Edge, Curbar Edge and finishes with the descent at Baslow Edge (hopefully some 7 or 8 hours later!)

We're hockey people right, so what did you expect - a few laps of Dunham Massey??
