"Weaver and Jono to Play" says Wilson

Captain Jonathan Weaver and forward Jonathan Phillips both missed GB's final training session ahead of their crunch World Championship game with Holland on Friday, Assistant Coach Rob Wilson says that their absences was purely a precaution.

"It's no secret a few guys here have some bumps and bruises, I am sure it's no different in any other of the teams playing here. These guys have logged a lot of ice time since arriving at the weekend, they are both coming off hard seasons so yes, they're both feeling sore right now. With just two games to go we are looking after them so there was no point putting them out there to train today.

"Both guys went to the gym and rode the bike, they are fine and both will play against the Dutch on Friday."
