Ice Hockey is an expensive sport to play. All our members get involved in fund raising but we're always looking for other methods to raise even more. Here are some ways in which you may be able to help us.
Shop online and we'll get funds for free!
Notice the banner for Easyfundraising.org.uk at the top of our home page?
If you shop online it's a simple, easy and free way for you to support Manchester Phoenix Junior Ice Hockey Club. Best of all, it can make us money while it saves you money!
We've teamed up with easyfundraising who provide a shopping directory listing some of your favourite online stores. Over 350 popular retailers are participating including AMAZON, PLAY.com, Toys'R'Us, DELL, John Lewis, Woolworths, HMV, Comet, Vodafone and hundreds more.
All you need to do when you buy online is go to the easyfundraising site first, then click on to the retailer you want to visit. At no extra cost we'll then receive a donation worth up to 15% of every purchase you make – it's that easy!
It doesn't cost a penny extra to shop and raise funds in this way, and you can even SAVE MONEY, as many retailers give exclusive discounts and savings when you shop using the easyfundraising site.
If you shop online anyway, help raise extra funds for us by using this completely free service.
Visit www.easyfundraising.org.uk/manchesterphoenixjihc and when you register, select Manchester Phoenix Junior Ice Hockey Club as the organisation you wish to support.
Sponsorship
- Display your company logo on our match shirts.
- Promote your company through p.a. announcements on match days.
- Advertise in our match day programmes.
- You can even take out a joint sponsorship package with the senior team for maximum coverage!
 Fund Raising Opportunities
Asda have generously set aside bag packing dates for us at their Trafford Park store. This has already helped us raise over £800 so far this season, with more to come. Perhaps your company could offer us a fund raising opportunity?
Tax
As a Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC) we're able to reclaim tax on donations made to us by anyone who pays tax. That can mean an extra 28% of the amount you donate. (See our CASC section for more)
A similar scheme operates for companies. However, companies can chose to reclaim the tax themselves instead, making their giving more economical.
If you're considering making a donation, ask our treasurer for more details.
