Phoenix confirm second Junior Trials date

Having already announced a date for Junior Trials of July 1st at the Deeside Ice Rink, due to demand and to help accommodate people who can't make this date, the Phoenix have arranged a second date for Junior Trials.

A spokesperson commented, "We want to offer as many youngsters as possible a chance to trial for a place on a Phoenix team. In addition to those who can't make July 1st, we've also had contact from youngsters who don't have a full set of hockey equipment. So, not to exclude them we've added an extra time slot for these players and also Under 12's. For players without full equipment, for insurance and safety purposes, the minimum level of kit will be skates, helmet, elbow and knee pads."

Ice time, again at Deeside, has been booked for Saturday June 17th with the following time schedules.
4.00pm - 4.45pm - incomplete kit players and Under-12
4.45pm - 5.30pm - Under-14
5.45pm - 6.30pm - Under-16
6.30pm - 7.20pm - Under-19

The age group determination is the age as of December 31st, 2006, and there will a nominal charge of £5 per player. All players wishing to take part should arrive at the rink no later than 45 minutes before the allotted trial time begins.

UPDATE: Just a quick clarification, the programme on both dates - June 17th and July 1st - are identical and as listed above.
