Juniors player offers going out

Following our successful trials, the Manchester Phoenix junior coaches have had the tough task of selecting squads and making sure we offer as many players as possible the chance to develop their game at the new Altrincham rink.

Team co-ordinators at each age group are contacting trialists throughout the week, so if you attended either or both of the Deeside Trials… stand by your phones!

We aim to have contacted everyone by Saturday July 8th. If you're expecting our call and we haven't been in touch by then, let us know by e-mailing our Registration Secretary Nial Crebbin, and he'll investigate for you.

Don't forget, we need completed registration packs back as soon as possible to get all our players registered with the English Ice Hockey Association in time for the new season.

Junior Development Co-Ordinator Paul Brown added, “we’d also like to thank everyone that donated playing equipment over the course of the two trial weekends. Our appeal for any unwanted or no longer required skates, helmets, pads, body armour, in fact anything still stands. Building up a bank stock of equipment to help more youngsters get started is another vital part of the programme, so please, if you can help contact the club offices and we’ll arrange a time and place for a handover.”
