Summerfield Nets Conference Chance

In the latest development from the Northern Conference, Manchester Phoenix U-19 netminder Adam Summerfield has won his way through to the final trial in the U-17 age group. To be held just before Christmas at Ice Sheffield, the remaining 23 players will be whittled down to a final squad of 19. With three netminders still in the running, Adam will need to edge past Newcastle's Chris Snaith or Whitley's Thomas Murdy to win his place on the team.
