Summerfield nets Conference call-up

Manchester Phoenix Under-19 netminder Adam Summerfield is the latest member of the Phoenix Junior programme to be recognised at Northern Conference Under-17 level.

Adam's progress between the pipes for the Phoenix U-19 squad has been rewarded not only with selection to the Northern Conference team, as he has also been called up to the Great Britain Under-18 inline rolley hockey team who travel to the United States for an international tournament in the summer.

A Phoenix Junior spokeslady commented, "Everyone is delighted for Adam and his call-up to the Conference squad and we can't wait for their first game against the Bradford Under-19 squad next week. Adam's call-up means that the Phoenix Junior club now has representation at Conference level in the Under-13, Under 15 and Under-17 age groups."
