Conference Call For Phoenix U-11 Trio

Three members of the Manchester Phoenix Junior Club are celebrating their selection for the Northern Conference Under-11 squad.

Phoenix Under-10 captain, nine-year old Sophie Reeks from Chester, wins a place in defence, whilst from the Phoenix Under-12 team, Warrington based Josh Hartsorn joins the Conference squad forwards. Joe Murphy from Crumpsall is included as a netminder after only six months experience between the pipes.

The call-ups follow a series of five trials held over four months in Newcastle and Bradford. Everyone at the Phoenix congratulates the successful trio and wishes them the best of luck as they prepare for the high profile Conference Finals Weekend to be held in Hull this Spring.
