Phoenix Hard Work Awarded

Manchester Phoenix Junior Ice Hockey Club is honoured to announce that it has been awarded the EIHA Chairman's cup for the 2009-2010 season. The award was made by the EIHA Chairman Ken Taggart in recognition for the continued development of junior hockey within the club.

This is the second time the club has been awarded this accolade by the EIHA which is a great acknowledgment to the continuous hard work and dedication by all the club's staff, players, parents and volunteers.

Nigel Soens the club's Chairman said, "It's a fantastic achievement by everyone involved and a fitting climax to the season, there's a lot of good clubs out there with strong and established junior development programmes and it's great to see that our hard work has been recognised yet again above all the rest. The trophy acknowledges everybody's efforts involved in the club and I would like to add my personal thanks to everyone who has supported the growth of the Manchester Phoenix Junior Cub."
