We need you north west- open player trials

Wednesday, 18th June 2014

The Phoenix organisation is giving the up and coming stars of the North West the opportunity to trial for their EPIHL and NIHL teams on Sunday the 22nd of June at 6:30pm. If you believe you are truly talented on the ice or know someone who is then this could be their opportunity. Players will be assessed and evaluated by head coach Tony Hand and his senior coaching staff. Furthermore potential recruits will be joined on the ice by members of the EPL winning squad from the 2013/14 season. The opportunity doesn’t occur often and when asked what he was looking for from the trials earlier this week Coach Tony Hand answered,

"I'm looking to add two academy players to my roster for the next year who can start playing regular hockey for the Phoenix."

Tony and his team are also looking stars of the future who can play in the NIHL and be shaped by the excellent coaching staff at the Manchester Phoenix.

If you truly believe that you could become a Manchester Phoenix player then please contact the Manchester Phoenix team on trials@manchesterphoenix.co.uk with your contact details. All players must pre-register as there are only limited places available on the ice.

Please check the EIHA website for more details on eligibility. Members of the public and press are welcomed and encouraged to attend the open trial and will be given access to the main stand above the changing rooms for viewing. The fans and press will be accompanied by Phoenix TV, who will film the trials and show the highlights over the upcoming weeks, please check the website for footage after the event.
