War of the Roses 2014

The annual War of the Roses games between Manchester Phoenix and Sheffield Steeldogs will take place on the weekend of 5th and 7th September. The first game will be hosted by Sheffield at their rink on Friday 5th September with a 1930hrs face off.

The Andre will bring his troops over the Penines for the second leg at the Ice Dome on Sunday 7th September with a 1730hrs face off.

As always, Andre has once again recruited well and the games will be a considerable test for the English Premier League Champions. He has complimented his hard working Brits with 4 quality imports. Dalibor Sedlar returns to back stop the team and the forwards  Lubomir Korhon and new acquisition Jeff Legue from the neighbouring Steelers will give them more potency than last season.

The War of the Roses games are always keenly contested and Phoenix will be determined to bring the Rose Bowl back to its rightful home.

The clubs are also negotiating a Sledge Hockey game prior to the first match on Friday at Ice Sheffield. Keep an eye on the website for details of this game.
