Phoenix advise fixtures update

Manchester Phoenix have submitted the following proposal to the bmibaby Elite League in respect of home fixtures for December and January in the light of further delays to the completion of the new Altrincham Ice Dome.

With the exception of the January 7th game against the Sheffield Steelers that will be staged in ice Sheffield – with a 5pm face-off time, all the following fixtures will be staged at the Deeside Leisure Centre.

Dec 2nd vs Edinburgh Capitals: 7pm.
Dec 10th vs Cardiff Devils: 3pm.
Dec 17th vs Coventry Blaze: 3pm.  (Note, this game is the 2nd leg of the Challenge Cup semi-final and replaces the bmibaby Elite League fixture that will now be re-arranged.)
Dec 22nd vs Edinburgh Capitals: This game is now postponed and will be re-scheduled.
Dec 31st vs MobilX Vipers: 2.30pm.
Jan 7th vs Sheffield Steelers: Ice Sheffield, 5pm.
Jan 14th vs Belfast Giants: 3pm.
Jan 21st vs Hull Stingrays: 3pm.
Jan 28th vs Basingstoke Bison: Altrincham Ice Dome, 5.30pm

We will confirm full ratification of this proposal next week.
