U18s hold their own against the Warriors

Minotaurs vs Warriors

Manchester Minotaurs faced another defeat this weekend at the hands of the Whitley Bay Warriors. The Minotaurs continue in their search for a win this season and for Saturdays match they had to rely on several Manchester Phoenix Junior U18s to make up their short bench. With several key players missing, Michael Gilbert, Jack Dillon, James Soens and Craig Pollitt played up from their junior team to assist the Minotaurs in this tie against Whitley. Read more

Minotaurs stung in final minutes

Manchester Minotaurs were in action on Saturday as they faced Sutton Sting away at Sheffield Ice Rink. The team welcomed back Max Drakeley who missed half of last season due to a shoulder injury. The Minotaurs didn't have to wait long to take the lead as John Murray scored from the blue line at just 0:36. Sutton looked a threat as they tested the Manchester defence solidly throughout the first period. Aron Fox made some crucial saves alongside good defensive play from Cade King and Drakeley. Minotaurs unlucky eleven

This weekend the Manchester Minotaurs were in action again as they played host to the Solway Sharks. The Sharks suffered a 4-6 defeat by Blackburn the night before, so were looking to gain some valuable points from this clash. The first period was evenly matched as there were chances missed both ends but with both teams looking strong. Read more
