profile from 2003
Much travelled and with a wide experience despite having only taken up the game of ice hockey within the past ten years, Mark Thomas was another raw talent that Phoenix Head Coach Rick Brebant signed hoping to develop in the 2003-04 season. Mark only took up ice hockey after watching the Manchester Storm and decided to chance his luck at U-19’s trials at Altrincham.
Like most British hockey players in their late teens and early 20’s Mark has very simple objectives where the game is concerned, “I want to play at the highest level possible and I’m delighted to have this chance with the new team in Manchester.” (2003)
