Based in Altrincham, J Davidson are one of the North West's largest and longest established scrap metal dealers, servicing industrial, commercial and the general public sectors.

Established in 1970 on their present site in Broadheath by the late Jack Davidson, the company is now run by his son James.

With almost 40 years' experience in the scrap metal industry, their knowledge, staff, equipment, policies and levels of service is what sets them apart from the competition. J Davidson was one of the first companies in the North West to be credited as an Authorised Treatment Facility for the disposal of end of life vehicles.

The core business is the recycling of all types of metal products arising from end of life vehicles, industrial and construction demolition or general commercial metal waste. They recycle around 40,000 tonnes of metal each year using the most advanced equipment available to the Scrap Processing industry.

The company buy all types of scrap metal, ranging from non-ferrous metals such as copper to ferrous metals such as steel and provide an extensive range of recycling and collection services tailored to meet customer requirements.

J Davidson is proud of their standing in the local community and is very pleased to be associated with Manchester Phoenix. They have not only signed on as the club’s premier sponsor for this season, but have in fact penned a two-year contract.
