The Phoenix head into 2013!

The annual Manchester Phoenix calendar is here! Entitled “Cooking with the Phoenix” it showcases photographs of the Phoenix players cooking, waiting-on and serving behind the bar at the Hale Bar & Grill, who are also a team sponsor.

The calendar is the first installment of a two part project, the final part which is a recipe book is due in the new year. The book is filled with recipes for the playerʼs favourite foods.

Lauren Freeman, the photographer behind the idea commented: “Iʼve had this idea for quite a while, but the time never felt right to put it into the open. However, this year felt like the right year. Thereʼs just something about this team which made me think theyʼd be great for this. When I told Chief Photographer Richard Allan and Team Owner Neil Morris about the project, they both really liked it. We got the Hale Bar & Grill involved, who were brilliant. They let the boys into the kitchen, behind the bar and where ever else we needed to be.”

This limited edition calendar is available from the White Magic Shop for £8.50, but youʼll have to be as there are only 50 available!
