The North West’s premier ice hockey club, Manchester Phoenix are looking for enthusiastic, talented individuals for the following roles for their online television channel Phoenix TV:

  • Match night live reporters to analyse matches and league round-ups
  • Pre-recorded programme presenters to bring the latest news and updates to supporters
  • Guests to come and share their knowledge and experiences on Phoenix TV
  • The club are also looking for match night announcers to entertain and inform supporters before and during games

Phoenix TV has received over 250,000 hits on YouTube and gives presenters the chance to interview the players and club officials from one of the most exciting sports in the world.

The channel is one of the sport’s top review programmes featuring pre-match build up, match highlights, post-match interviews and league round-ups. Potential presenters should ideally be confident, warm and enthusiastic but will be rewarded with the chance to get involved with a top sports team and is the perfect opportunity for anyone considering a career in media or wanting to get involved with the club.

Neil Morris, Managing Director at Manchester Phoenix said:

“The opportunity to get involved behind the scenes and on match nights at Manchester Phoenix will provide a rewarding and exciting experience for anyone.”

Anyone interested in presenting Phoenix TV should email info@manchesterphoenix.co.uk and detail a bit about themselves and why they would like the opportunity. Match night presenters and announcers must be available for most Manchester Phoenix home games for the 2014-15 season and non-match night presenters must be able to get to the Manchester Phoenix office in Droylsden.
