The Phoenix faithful

Tuesday, 10th October 2006

Manchester Phoenix fans have fought long and hard to build the club, and as a gesture of recognition, the Phoenix have commissioned a brand new embroidered patch called "The Phoenix Faithful".  The Players will wear this on all their playing shirts to recognise and commemorate all of the fans who have supported the club on their Long Road Home.

The last eight programmes before we make it home will all carry this emblem inside.  Fans who collect six of the programme emblems, along with their ticket stubs will be presented with one of these commemorative patches to mark the journey together.

(For Families – 4 ticket stubs & 1 programme emblem x 6 = 4 patches)

Fans will also automatically qualify for the first tour of the new home of the Phoenix, the Altrincham Ice Dome… and as a special bonus, on this day, the tour guides will be the Phoenix players.

Club owner Neil Morris launched the "Phoenix Faithful" patch by saying "I know this is a small emblem for a lot of help through these difficult times, but I believe, 'from little acorns, grow great oaks' - and we will be a great Club."
