Phoenix marketing successes

At Fridays’ public meeting in Manchester Town Hall, Phoenix MD Neil Morris proudly announced NASN – the North American Sports Network television channel -together with two Manchester companies have formed commercial partnerships with the club.

“This is a tremendous boost to our marketing activities,” Morris stated. “And together with two other sponsorship deals to be announced shortly, gives us a high profile brand name that fans and other potential advertisers and sponsors can relate to.”

John Lee of NASN commented, “We are delighted to confirm forming a commercial partnership with Manchester Phoenix covering the next twelve months. As Europe’s only TV channel dedicated to American sports, NASN prides itself in forming partnerships with the most exciting organisations in the world of ice hockey, baseball, basketball and American football. We are thrilled to join up with the Phoenix who are so positive and energetic.”

Mr Lee added, “NASN and the Phoenix are developing a relationship that allows our digital subscription channel and the club to promote each other in a way which we believe will be of great benefit to each other. As supporters of grass roots sports, we wish British Ice Hockey in general and Manchester Phoenix in particular the best of good fortune in the future.”

A beaming Morris noted, “In addition to the NASN deal, two other local companies Thinkdata and Hoodpoint have agreed sponsorship deals with us and we will be issuing joint media releases early next week to acknowledge their support. These are exciting times for the Manchester Phoenix and we are very grateful for the tremendous commitment and faith these three companies have demonstrated in our organisation.”
