Phoenix shirt launch

Sunday, 31st July 2011

Over 300 Phoenix fans were in attendance at the Cresta Court Hotel for the 2011-2012 Season Shirt Launch, where team owner Neil Morris and head coach Tony Hand MBE gave an update on the plans for the forthcoming season and the new shirts were modelled.

Netminder Stephen Fone was in attendance to model the new Away Cup shirt, with returnee Ryan Johnson modelling the new Warm Up shirt. Ben Wood showcased the new Home Cup shirt, James Archer modelled the new Away Shirt, and the new Home Shirt bearing the number 9 and the name 'Hand' on the back was also presented!

Amongst the news shared by Neil Morris and Tony Hand were the revelations that the team's headline sponsor J. Davidson had signed up to a two year deal with the club, and that over ten of our existing sponsors were returning for the new season with another four deals waiting to be inked.

On the player signing front, Coach Hand announced his pleasure with the British contingent for the new season, and that the club will hopefully be putting pen to paper with a new import forward within the next few days. On the defence side, the club are closing in on a signing and more news will follow soon!
