Have you ever wanted to ask James Neil why he started playing Ice Hockey? Or ask Shaun Thompson why coming to the Manchester Phoenix was the correct decision for his career? Well now is your opportunity to speak to the players themselves.

Phoenix fans, young or old are invited to have the chance to meet the 2014/15 team who will attempt to defend the English Premier Ice Hockey League title. The annual Manchester Phoenix meet the player’s event will be held at the Cresta Court Hotel on Wednesday the 3rd of September with free parking available. However there are a limited amount of spaces due to the high number of guests.

To attend the event every guests will be asked for a minimum £3 donation to the Manchester Phoenix Community Sports Foundation (MPCSF) on the door. There is no need to book for your place. Just make sure you are at the Cresta Court for a 7:30pm start. Once the room is full we will have to close the doors due to fire regulations, so don’t be late.

Fans who attend the event will hear exclusive news about how the J Davidson’s “Men of Iron” are preparing for the War of the Roses game on the 5th of September with the return leg at the Altrincham Ice Dome on the 7th of September. There will also be an opportunity for fans to put their questions to players and staff about all things Phoenix, as well as order their 2014/15 season shirt or join the Phoenix Supporters club. The bar will be available to purchase a range of refreshments.

This is a great opportunity for everyone who is involved with the Manchester Phoenix to come together and talk about the plans for the most successful season in the team’s history as we all prepare to defend the English Premier Ice Hockey League Champions Title. We have said it before and we will say it again it is you, the fans, who are the heart and soul of the Manchester Phoenix and we would not be able to do this without you. Thank you for your continued support and we are look forward to seeing as many faces as possible at the event both new and old.
