Statement from Manchester Phoenix owner Neil Morris

"I was at Coventry myself on Sunday night and on behalf of Rick and myself and everyone connected with the club, I apologised to the travelling supporters for the performance of the team. I told the fans who spent their hard earned money to follow the team that they had watched a performance of a standard that does not befit a team from Manchester and that such a standard is not acceptable to either Rick or myself, and that matters will be addressed this week. To the fans who didn't go to Coventry, I apologise to you as well and assure you that we will leave no stone unturned as we correct the situation and return this team to winning form."
