Open doors for this Sunday's trials

Tuesday, 17th June 2003

Manchester Phoenix will be holding the second trials session in front of the viewing public. Phoenix Head Coach Rock Brebant will personally be putting the players through their paces on the Blackburn Arena ice pad on Sunday 22nd June. The response to the first trials session was very positive with 23 players icing under the direction of Paul Bayliss and Bobby Haig, and all 23 have earned the right to return this Sunday for the second trial. The players will also be joined by those who were unable to attend the first trial, so this Sunday's session will hopefully see all participants stepping up and showing what they can do!

Sunday's session, like the first session, will be open to the viewing public. The audience for the first trials was made up of just under 200 fans, including the players' friends and families, and we hope that even more people will come along this Sunday to show their support for the players and the sport as we work together to develop the inclusion of homegrown talent at the highest level!

The trials are scheduled to run from 6pm to 8pm, with admission priced at £3 on the door. Make sure to arrive early and wrap up well!
