Double figure Phoenix beat Romford hoodoo

Manchester Phoenix ended a run of six defeats and totally erase bad memories of their previous two visits to Romford with a thumping 10-2 victory on Saturday evening. Even a late arrival at the Rom Valley rink couldn't prevent a hat-trick from Adam Walker together with doubles from Robert Lachowicz and Tony Hand being far too much for a beleaguered Raiders side to cope with. Walker double can't prevent Phoenix loss to Jets

A much-improved showing by the Manchester Phoenix wasn't enough to take victory from the Slough Jets on Sunday night. Phoenix fought back from a two-goal deficit thanks to a brace of markers from Adam Walker, but the in-form Jets added two third period strikes to take the points. Read more
